The Grand European Stand-up Festival will take place in Munich for the first time, becoming one of the largest comedy events of the year in Europe. Over the course of three days, stand-up comedians from various countries will perform on stages across the city, united by a shared goal — to showcase contemporary European stand-up at the highest level.
The festival’s headliner is Garik Oganisyan, one of the most recognizable stand-up comedians in the Russian-speaking world, a resident of Stand Up Club #1, a participant in popular YouTube projects, and the founder of a stand-up club in Yerevan. His performances combine intelligent humor, sharp observations, and distinctive wordplay, making each appearance a standout event.
Festival Program
Gong Show — Stand-up Elimination (January 31)
A format where only the strongest survive. Comedians deliver short sets while the audience decides their fate. If the material fails to connect, the gong sounds. Tough, fast-paced, and completely unpredictable.
Roast — No Rules Battle (January 30)
One of the boldest and most provocative stand-up formats. Comedians engage in verbal duels filled with sharp jokes, provocation, and unexpected punchlines. A night of uncensored humor with nonstop laughter.
Main Event — Festival Gala Show (February 1)
The final evening of the Grand European Stand-up Festival. The festival’s top comedians take the main stage with their strongest, most polished, and freshest material. The culmination of three days of comedy and the centerpiece of the program.
