In 2026, a major premiere will take place on stages across Germany: the Classical Ballet of Naples will present an elegant production of “Cinderella” set to the music of Sergei Prokofiev — one of the most poetic and recognizable masterpieces of world ballet.

For more than a century, the story of Cinderella has remained one of the most inspiring narratives of global stage art. Based on the famous tale of a kind and gentle young woman, the ballet “Cinderella” combines expressive dramaturgy, brilliant musicality and profound emotional depth.

The libretto reveals the heroine’s path from a modest, unnoticed life to an inner transformation that leads her toward destiny and the awakening of love. The appearance of the Prince, the gradual rise of feeling, the fulfillment of a long-awaited dream — all this forms the foundation of an artistic expression rooted in the finest traditions of classical ballet.

This two-act production was created by choreographer Andrey Lyapin, who succeeded in preserving the original structure while enriching it with modern stage nuances.

Embarking on tour is a renowned Italian ballet company, celebrated for its high artistic mastery and careful preservation of classical heritage. Formed in the historic “cradle of European dance,” the company maintains the Neapolitan school as a model of precision, expressiveness and stylistic refinement.
