Classico Ballet Napoli presents the legendary masterpiece by P. I. Tchaikovsky — the ballet “Swan Lake,” in a production that blends timeless classical tradition with a fresh contemporary stage aesthetic.

Since its first staging in 1895 in St. Petersburg, “Swan Lake” has become a symbol of classical ballet and an embodiment of artistic perfection. For more than a century, this immortal work has inspired audiences across the world — from London and Milan to Tokyo and Berlin.

In the 2025–2026 season, German stages will once again welcome this exceptional production performed by the Italian troupe Classico Ballet Napoli — a company whose roots lie in the famed Neapolitan ballet schools, the historic cradle of European dance.

“Swan Lake” is a story of love and destiny, of light and darkness, expressed through Tchaikovsky’s music and choreography that has become synonymous with elegance and spiritual power. The production by Classico Ballet Napoli preserves the traditions of the great Russian classical ballet, while thoughtfully introducing modern choreographic elements and expressive stage design.

The meticulous work of costume and set designers creates an atmosphere of a magical world, where the audience witnesses a struggle between good and evil, light and shadow, love and betrayal.
