Ludovico Einaudi is an outstanding Italian composer and pianist whose music has become an essential part of world cinema. His compositions appear in films such as Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan, Casey Affleck’s I’m Still Here, Xavier Dolan’s Mommy, and the legendary French drama The Intouchables (1+1). One of his film scores earned him an Academy Award nomination.
Although Einaudi began his career in classical music, he went beyond traditional boundaries by integrating elements of rock, world music, and ambient.
