In the atmospheric setting of the WAM Theatre, the audience will hear the most iconic works of one of the most influential contemporary composers — Ludovico Einaudi.
Ludovico Einaudi is an outstanding Italian composer and pianist whose music has become an essential part of world cinema. His compositions appear in films such as Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan, Casey Affleck’s I’m Still Here, Xavier Dolan’s Mommy, and the legendary French drama The Intouchables (1+1). One of his film scores earned him an Academy Award nomination.
Although Einaudi began his career in classical music, he went beyond traditional boundaries by integrating elements of rock, world music, and ambient. His style is defined by minimalism, deep emotional expression, and a modern sonic palette, making him one of the leading representatives of neoclassical music.
During the concert, the audience will enjoy his signature compositions, including Elements, Experience, Due Tramonti, The Path of the Fossils, and selections from the album Nightbook.
