Piano Duo “From Classicism to Romanticism” 2026

The piano duo Duo Eleganza, founded by pianists Jana and Philipp Subbotin in 2002, has appeared on international stages for many years. They have performed in prestigious venues in Moscow, Prague, Vienna, Barcelona, Budapest, Copenhagen and Brussels.
In 2010–2011 the musicians launched several concert projects at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Prague, including „Classics for Friends“, „Classics for Children“ and „Russian Tuesdays“, all well received by audiences. They also contributed to the organization of the „Piano Seasons in Prague“ and the Liszt Memorial Festival in Budapest.
The concert program features works of the 18th–19th centuries: Mozart’s Sonata for piano four hands, Saint-Saëns’ „Danse Macabre“, Moszkowski’s „Three Spanish Dances“ and selected numbers from Tchaikovsky’s ballet „The Nutcracker“, including the March, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Trepak, Arabian Dance, Chinese Dance and Waltz of the Flowers.
