Veniamin Smekhov is an actor, director, screenwriter and writer, the voice of an entire era. He has an amazing talent to read poems as if they had just been composed, making them incredibly close and understandable.
His author's program "Poetry Therapy" is more than just an evening of poetry. It is a sincere meeting and warm conversation, where the works of Pushkin, Mayakovsky, Yevtushenko, Samoilov and Vysotsky take on a new sound and become closer than ever. You will find yourself at a rare meeting with a man whose breath merges with the breath of poetry, who knows how to hear poetry and share it as a part of his soul.
