The Heldenmarkt fair is back!
Heldenmarkt is not just a large “marketplace”. It is a platform for young companies whose priorities lie in protecting the environment and caring for the future rather than pursuing profit. The fair sets trends and fosters a culture of conscious and “eco-friendly” consumption.
The history of Heldenmarkt began in Berlin, where it first opened its doors at the Postbahnhof in 2010. After a five-year break, this “representative trade fair” returns to Berlin, showcasing the best sustainable products and solutions in fields such as nutrition, fashion, household, mobility, travel, and finance.
A key component of the modern “sustainable development” concept is the responsible use of resources and goods to meet the needs of the present generation without endangering the prospects of future ones. It encompasses ecological, social, and economic dimensions of human life.
Putting this concept into practice aims to balance individual, sometimes excessive needs with society’s long-term interests. The goal is simple – to minimize environmental damage and potential social costs.
This year, around 100 exhibitors at Heldenmarkt will present products that fully meet modern sustainability standards – from food, clothing, and cosmetics to housing, mobile technology, and financial services. There will also be unique eco-friendly gift ideas for the upcoming Christmas season.
The event’s rich program includes cooking shows (with tastings and product sales), educational lectures, workshops and panel discussions on sustainability and innovation, as well as children’s entertainment (puppet theater, craft corners).
There will also be a special job stand for employment opportunities in companies working in the field of sustainable development.
