From April 6 to 16, 2026, audiences will experience one of the most anticipated theatrical events of the season – the stage adaptation of Mikhail Bulgakov’s legendary novel The Master and Margarita, directed by Valery Belyakovich. This powerful story of love, faith, and temptation comes to life in a profound and emotional performance by the theater’s leading actors.
The play poses an eternal question: does a person control their own destiny, or are there forces that can change its course? The characters live through passion, make mistakes, seek truth and love – and in the end, everyone receives what they deserve. The meeting with the Master is inevitable: no one escapes reward or punishment.
The cast includes talented actors long admired for their sincere and captivating performances: Kalnynsh, Khalizov, Lebed, Bogdanov, Avramenko, Melnik, Rozovlyan.
Director Valery Belyakovich offers a modern yet respectful interpretation of Bulgakov’s masterpiece. In his production, reality intertwines with mysticism, and philosophical reflections become vivid and relatable to every viewer.
“The Master and Margarita” in this staging is a true masterpiece of 21st-century theater, where the classics sound anew while preserving the timeless power of Bulgakov’s words.
