“Karlsson on the Roof” is a joyful and heartwarming play based on Astrid Lindgren’s beloved tale — a story about friendship, imagination, and the belief in magic.
A little boy dreams of getting a dog, but one day he meets Karlsson — a cheerful man with a propeller on his back who lives on the roof. Together they play, argue, and embark on incredible adventures, learning to see the world with wonder and laughter.
At the end, Karlsson says to the audience:
“Hey, grown-ups! Remember your childhood bell? Open your windows so I can fly in to see you!”
Filled with music, light, and warmth, this performance celebrates childhood and the joy of friendship.
